State Unemployment Benefits in Idaho

The Idaho Department of Labor administers unemployment insurance. When a claimant dies having completed a compensable period before death, Idaho Code 72-1370 makes the benefits due at the time of death payable without administration to the surviving spouse, or, if there is no surviving spouse, to the dependent child or children.
