Steps to take when someone dies
- •Online: Order through the state Vital Records Services portal (2.4% / $1.00 minimum convenience fee, credit card only)
- •By mail: Mail the application with a money order or bank-personalized check on the requester's own account, a copy of photo ID, and a self-addressed stamped envelope
- •In person: Visit the Vital Records Services office in Cheyenne (cash and credit card accepted in person)
- •Photocopy of a valid government-issued photo ID with a signature (IDs less than 60 days expired are accepted), or a notarized signature on the application
- •Documentation showing entitlement for non-family requesters
