Local Procedures at the Orphans' Court
Probating requires an appointment. Email a copy of the Petition for Grant of Letters, death certificate, will/renunciations, and number of short certificates desired to gneal@indianacountypa.gov for a total cost figure before the appointment. Updated Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court fee schedules took effect April 1, 2026; the schedules are posted on the Register and Recorder page.
