Local Procedures at the District Court
Neosho County has two court locations: Erie (county seat, 100 S Main, Room 110) and Chanute (102 S Lincoln). Probate, guardianship/conservatorship, adoption, and care-and-treatment matters are filed at the Erie Division. The Chanute Division handles criminal, juvenile, domestic, and current civil filings and keeps different hours (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Hearings may be held at either location.
