Local Procedures at the Chancery Court
The Chancery Court schedules probate hearings Civil (chancery) court terms in Johnson County begin the first Monday in January, May, and September for two consecutive weeks, with additional settings as needed in February, June, and October; miscellaneous days (morning sessions for uncontested matters and short motions) are held the first Monday of each month.
