Yes. Wisconsin has adopted UPOAA § 302Wis. Stat. §§ 244.06, 244.07Verified May 1, 2026: an out-of-state POA is valid in Wisconsin if it was validly executed under the law of the place of execution or the principal's domicile when signed. UPOAA state (2010). Per § 244.06(3), out-of-state POA valid if it complied with the law of the jurisdiction that determines meaning/effect under § 244.07, or is a military POA under 10 USC 1044b. Per § 244.07(1), meaning/effect determined by jurisdiction indicated in the POA, or if none indicated, jurisdiction where executed. Copies have same effect as originals per § 244.06(4).
