Reviews and Star Seller status attach to the shop. Because Etsy does not permit shop transfers and does not release a shop name for reuse after closure, accumulated reviews and Star Seller status cannot be carried to a successor's account. A successor shop opened with the inherited photos, copy, and designs starts from zero on all three.
Both keep billing until someone stops them. Pattern by Etsy is a separate website subscription at $15.00 USD per month managed from Pattern Settings and cancellable at any time; Etsy notes the site "will remain active until the end of the month you've already paid for," with an option to deactivate it immediately. Offsite Ads fees run on attributed orders while the shop is open: 15% for shops under $10,000 USD in a consecutive 365-day period (which can opt out), and 12% for shops at or above it, which are "Automatically enrolled in Offsite Ads and required to participate for the lifetime of your shop." Etsy caps the fee -- "The Offsite Ads fee for any individual order will never exceed $100 USD, regardless of the order total." Closing the shop stops new Offsite Ads charges.
