How to request a transfer

- •Letters testamentary, letters of administration or equivalent court-issued authority
- •Government-issued photo ID of the executor or heir
- •The username, registered email address, Support code and domain names
- •Push it to another NameBright account. The recipient needs an existing account and has 5 days to accept; the move is immediate and adds no lock.
- •Or transfer it to another registrar with an auth code, available only after the 60-day lock from registration or the last transfer expires.

- Domain renewal and expiry
Under sections 16 and 17 of the Terms, an unrenewed domain leaves the account roughly 30 to 40 days after expiration for the Expiry and Disposal Processing Phase, where it may be auctioned or reassigned and can no longer be renewed by the registrant.1
A domain that is not sold reaches the 30-day Redemption Grace Period, where NameBright currently charges $85 to redeem a .com or .net. In the disposal phase the registration is cancelled and the WHOIS record no longer names the registrant.1

Until an executor's authority is established, a domain keeps renewing only while auto-renew is on and a payment method on file still works.1
