- Who owns the asset
Nordy Club points and Nordstrom Notes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, may not be purchased or sold, and do not constitute property; members have no ownership interest in them.1
Corporations, groups, associations and other business entities are ineligible to participate, so a membership is held by a person and not by an estate.1
- Closing the account
Cancelling the membership voids the balance: any Nordy Club points or Nordstrom Notes in the account become void at the time of cancellation.1

- Inactive accounts and expiry
All points expire after twelve consecutive months without program activity, such as earning points or redeeming Notes.1
Standard Notes expire 12 months after being issued, and Bonus Notes may carry a shorter date shown on the Note and in the promotion.2
Any earned points or Notes are also forfeited if the membership is canceled due to inactivity.2
- Balances, payouts and refunds
Points and Notes have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, and cancelling the membership forfeits any points or Notes earned.2
A Nordstrom gift card is separate from the Nordy Club account: gift cards do not expire and carry no fees, and title to a gift card passes to the purchaser on sale.3
Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash or returned for a cash refund except as required by law, and lost or stolen gift cards are not replaced.3
