“You may not share your Epic Games Account credentials with others. You can only use your own Epic Games Account that is registered to you. You can't sell it, give it away, trade it, or use someone else's Epic Games Account, even if they let you.”1

Sharing an Epic Games account may result in suspension or termination of the account and the loss of access to Licensed Products.1
- Balances, payouts and refunds
The Epic Account Balance is non-transferable, earns no interest, is not a personal property right, has no value outside the Epic Services, and has no cash value; it cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.2
Once an Epic Account Balance is closed, Epic may retain any amount remaining on it or, where it is deemed unclaimed property, report or surrender it to the applicable authority as the law requires.2
Fab Seller Proceeds are paid into a third-party merchant account that Epic does not administer, with a quarterly Revenue Report issued within 60 days of quarter end; Support-A-Creator payouts route the same way.3
- Purchased content and licenses
The Epic Games Store licence is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable, for personal, non-commercial use; titles claimed at no charge through the free game program enter the library through the same transaction mechanism as purchases.4
Fab, Epic's current content marketplace, licenses purchased content under the Fab Standard License as non-exclusive and non-transferable, and purchased assets stay tied to the buying Epic Games account.5, 6
Fortnite cosmetics and Battle Pass progress are tied to the account.1
Rocket League and Fall Guys inventory is tied to the Epic Games account; cross-platform progression syncs items across platforms linked to the same account and does not move them to a different account.1
- Deletion and data retention
Deleting an Epic Games account deletes all purchases, in-game progress and items associated with it, and purchases are not refunded on deletion.7
Epic's own deletion path runs from inside the signed-in account, so it is not a route for a survivor.7

A written request to Epic Games can ask it to refund an unspent balance, provide purchase and transaction records for the estate inventory, transfer the accounts to a named family member, close the account and preserve the account while the estate is opened.
Nothing in the account survives the holder, and Epic Games allows no lifetime transfer of it either.
