Frequently asked questions

Mostly no. Progressive life insurance is offered through Progressive Advantage Agency, Inc. (PAA), which refers consumers to eFinancial, LLC. eFinancial places coverage with partner carriers such as Fidelity Life, Protective, Mutual of Omaha, Corebridge Financial, Prudential, and Transamerica. Progressive's own disclosure states that eFinancial and its insurers are not affiliated with Progressive. The one exception is term life insurance, which is underwritten by Progressive Life Insurance Company in select states.

Only the policyholder can change a beneficiary, and the change is processed by the carrier that issued the policy. Call Progressive Life by eFinancial at 1-866-912-2477 or eFinancial customer service at 1-800-482-6616 to identify the issuing carrier and obtain its beneficiary change form.
