As a membership-based credit union, Jeanne D'Arc CU membership open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Middlesex or Essex counties (Massachusetts); the Massachusetts cities/towns of Fitchburg, Leominster, Harvard, Lunenburg, or Lancaster; or Hillsborough or Rockingham counties (New Hampshire). $5 minimum deposit to open membership. Real estate mortgages available on properties within a 100-mile radius of Lowell or anywhere in Massachusetts. Eight branches: Lowell (headquarters), Dracut, Chelmsford, Tyngsboro, Methuen, Westford (MA), and Nashua (NH). Yes. Visit any Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union branch with your trust document (or Certificate of Trust), government-issued photo ID for all trustees, and the trust EIN or SSN. You will need to complete new account paperwork in the trust name. Existing accounts may need to be closed and reopened under the trust title. IRA accounts cannot be retitled to a trust but can name a trust as beneficiary. Contact 978-452-5001 for specific requirements.

Jeanne D'Arc offers four checking accounts: Fee Free Checking (no minimum balance, no monthly fee), Premier Checking (earns 0.05% APY, $1,000 minimum to avoid $10 monthly fee), Senior Premier Checking (for members 65+, earns 0.05% APY, no minimum balance or fees), and StartStrong Checking (for ages 13-18, no fees). All accounts include a Visa debit card, mobile check deposit, and online/mobile banking.
Savings accounts include Statement Savings and Senior Statement Savings (8.00% APY on first $500), WinStrong Savings (prize-linked), StartStrong Savings (ages 13-18), StartStrong Goal Account (1.00% APY), and M3 Money Club Savings (ages 12 and under). CDs are available in terms from 6 to 60 months with a $250 minimum deposit, rates up to 3.625% APY on promotional terms. All accounts are NCUA insured.
