Across 12 product types, ConnectOne accounts vary in how they transfer at death. The sections below walk through Payable on Death (POD) designations, trust funding options, and which products support each method.

Request to add a Payable on Death (POD) beneficiary to your deposit account

  • Full legal name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Address

You may add up to four (4) beneficiaries per account

Submit the beneficiary designation request

Special Requirements

  • Maximum of four (4) beneficiaries per account
  • POD designations are not available for business accounts
  • Named beneficiaries override your will for these accounts
  • IRA beneficiary designations are handled separately from POD designations on deposit accounts
