How your Arrowhead CU accounts transfer at death depends on how each one is set up. As a membership-based credit union, Arrowhead CU membership is open through association membership (Community Impact Fund or Surfrider Foundation), immediate family of existing members, or select employer groups in the San Bernardino and Riverside County areas. Arrowhead covers the association membership fee during enrollment. Operates approximately 20 branches throughout the Inland Empire. Headquartered at 8686 Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. $4 entrance fee and $1 initial deposit required. With 15 account types, the transfer rules vary—getting the right designations in place now prevents delays and court involvement later.
At Arrowhead CU, beneficiary designations are managed in branch, by mail, and by phone. Accounts can also be retitled into a trust to keep them out of probate entirely.
Arrowhead CU provides specific procedures for both proactive estate planning and filing claims after a death.
