Wyndham has one of the most restrictive estate policies among major hotel programs: the terms explicitly state points cannot be transferred "during or after the Member's life, by operation of law or otherwise," and no formal estate transfer process is published.
Under Wyndham Rewards's terms, points are not property of the account holder and are forfeited when the account closes at death. No estate planning document—will, trust, or otherwise—can override this forfeiture.
What happens at death
Wyndham Rewards Terms and Conditions explicitly state that points "do not constitute property of the Member, have no cash value, and cannot, except as otherwise explicitly authorized in these Terms and Conditions, be sold, bartered or transferred by Member or any other party during or after the Member's life, by operation of law or otherwise." This language means points cannot pass to an estate through inheritance, probate, or a will.
