ServisFirst offers 12 consumer accounts that interact with estate planning in distinct ways. Of those, 9 can name a trust as beneficiary or be retitled into a trust. Understanding the transfer methods available for each account type helps families keep assets out of probate and ensure they pass to the right people.

ServisFirst handles beneficiary designations in branch and by phone. Accounts can also be retitled into a trust to keep them out of probate entirely.

There are two sides to estate planning at ServisFirst: setting things up while you're alive, and the process survivors follow after a death.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Checking, savings, money market, and CD accounts can be retitled to a revocable living trust by visiting a local ServisFirst branch. Bring the trust agreement or Certification of Trust, government-issued ID for each trustee, and the trust tax identification number (the grantor's SSN for a revocable trust while living). Revoke any existing POD designations before retitling, as trust-titled accounts typically do not carry separate POD beneficiaries.

ServisFirst Bank does not publish a centralized estate services department or online estate portal. Estate-related matters are handled through your local banking office and your dedicated banker. Contact Client Support at 866-922-5794 or your local branch for assistance.

ServisFirst Bank Private Banking is designed for executives, professionals (attorneys, physicians), and privately held company owners. It provides a single Private Banker as the direct point of contact for personal and commercial banking needs. The Professional Checking account includes free notary services, two companion checking accounts, and unlimited foreign ATM reimbursement. Trust retitling and POD designations for private banking accounts are coordinated through your Private Banker.
