Yes. Hawaii State FCU accepts both revocable and irrevocable trust accounts for share draft (checking), share (savings), and term share certificate accounts. Visit a local branch with your Certification of Trust (or full trust agreement), trustee identification, and the trust Tax Identification Number. Existing accounts can also be retitled to a trust without closing them. Hawaii residency is required for new accounts.

Membership is open to Hawaii residents, immediate family members of current members (spouses, parents, grandparents, children, siblings, and household members), spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership, and employees or members of Hawaii State FCU Select Business Partners (companies, associations, and nonprofit groups located in Hawaii and enrolled with Hawaii State FCU). You can apply for membership at the same time you open an account.

The Always Saving account is a high-yield liquid savings account with a blended rate structure. The first $5,000 earns a higher rate and amounts above $5,000 earn a lower rate, blended together. To earn the qualified rate, your balance must increase month over month (excluding dividends). If it does not increase, the base rate applies. The minimum opening deposit is $100, and a $5 monthly service charge applies if the average daily balance falls below $500. One account per SSN.

Hawaii State FCU branches are located on Oahu and Maui only. However, members can access 5,000+ shared branches nationwide through the Co-Op Network, which allows you to perform transactions at participating credit unions as if you were at a Hawaii State FCU branch. Surcharge-free ATM access is available at all Hawaii State FCU and Bank of Hawaii ATMs.
