No. GO2bank does not offer trust accounts, and the Deposit Account Agreement does not permit the account to be transferred: Section 5 provides that "You cannot sell or transfer your Account to anyone else." Accounts are opened only for individual consumers, and there is no branch or trust department to process a fiduciary titling change. To fund a trust with cash, open a deposit account at a bank or credit union that titles accounts in the name of a trust. A GO2bank balance -- which can be neither trust-titled nor POD-designated -- passes through probate.
Savings vaults are not separate accounts. Under Section 7 of the Deposit Account Agreement, money must be moved from a vault to the primary deposit account before it can be withdrawn, vault transfers can be made only in the GO2bank mobile app (the Bank does not accept transfer instructions by phone), and vault balances count toward the $50,000 maximum account balance. An executor therefore settles one account, not several, and cannot move vault money over the phone. For insurance, GO2bank, GoBank, Green Dot Bank, and Bonneville Bank are registered trade names of a single FDIC-insured bank, Green Dot Bank; deposits held under any of those names are aggregated for FDIC coverage, so balances under two trade names do not get two separate coverage limits.
