Joint accounts, UTMA (Uniform Transfers to Minors) accounts, and trust accounts are explicitly prohibited under the Dave Deposit Agreement, Goals Account Agreement, and ExtraCash Account Agreement (each last updated July 1, 2026 in the Coastal Community Bank versions). Each individual may only open one Dave account. Families needing joint or custodial accounts should consider a traditional bank or credit union.
