Frequently asked questions

Citadel Wealth Management provides personalized financial planning including retirement planning, estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, college savings, 401(k)/457 rollovers, and insurance. Services are offered through CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS), via Cetera Investment Services, LLC (Member FINRA/SIPC). CFP professionals and CPAs are on the team. Citadel members also receive an exclusive 20% discount on estate plans from Trust & Will.

Citadel initiates paperwork and forwards it to Ascensus, the third-party IRA administrator, which handles all documentation for the named beneficiaries. If no beneficiaries are named on the IRA, the funds go to the decedent's estate. Verification of beneficiary information may be requested.

Visit a Citadel branch with the complete trust document or a Certificate of Trust, government-issued photo ID for all trustees, and the trust's EIN from the IRS. The Settlor must be a Citadel member. Complete a trust account application and Citadel will retitle the account(s) to trust ownership. All Trust Accounts are required to name a beneficiary.
