No. Nusenda acquired WESTERN HERITAGE BANK, headquartered in Las Cruces, New Mexico — the deal was finalized on March 12, 2024 after National Credit Union Administration approval, and those branches now operate as "Western Heritage - Powered by Nusenda Credit Union," with the accounts converted onto Nusenda's systems. Western Commerce Bank, headquartered in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is a different and separate institution that Nusenda did not acquire. If the person who died banked with Western Heritage, the estate paperwork goes to Nusenda at PO Box 8530, Albuquerque, NM 87198, and the Nusenda Account Information Brochure governs the account.
