Yes. A trust can be named as a POD beneficiary on deposit accounts or as a beneficiary on IRA accounts. Eligible deposit accounts (checking, savings, money market, certificates) can also be retitled directly into a revocable living trust. You will also need a Certificate of Trust (if available), the trust's SSN or EIN, and government-issued ID for all trustees. Eligible accounts include checking (MyDesign, Platinum, Free), savings, high-yield savings, money market, and certificate accounts.
Langley Saves is a tiered savings account designed to help members build savings habits. It earns 5.00% APY on balances up to $500, 2.00% APY on $500.01-$1,000, and 0.05% APY on balances over $1,000. It supports POD beneficiary designations but cannot be retitled to a trust.
