Frequently asked questions

Yes. Bethpage Federal Credit Union rebranded as FourLeaf Federal Credit Union in early 2025. All accounts, products, and services remain the same under the new name. The credit union was founded in 1941 as Grumman Hangar 2 Credit Union and has undergone several name changes over its history.

Yes. FourLeaf is federally chartered and offers nationwide open membership to any U.S. citizen or permanent resident. You become a member by opening a $5 savings account. Physical branches are on Long Island, Queens (NYC), and Cherry Hill, NJ, but you can bank online and access 30,000+ fee-free ATMs through the Co-op Solutions network and 5,000+ shared branch locations.

Yes. FourLeaf offers Traditional, Roth, Rollover, SEP, and SIMPLE IRA Certificates with guaranteed returns, and IRA Money Market accounts with variable rates. Both are NCUA insured up to $250,000. IRAs cannot be titled to a trust, but you can name a trust as beneficiary. For additional retirement investing, FourLeaf Financial Group offers advisory services through LPL Financial.

Yes. FourLeaf Financial Group provides personal investing, retirement planning, portfolio review, and college planning through experienced financial advisors. Securities and advisory services are offered through LPL Financial, a registered investment advisor and broker-dealer (member FINRA/SIPC). Guided Wealth Portfolios are available with a $5,000 minimum. Contact FourLeaf Financial Group at 516-349-6940. Investment products are not NCUA insured and are not obligations of the credit union.

Download and complete the Fiduciary Account Signature Card and Trustee Affidavit, and review the Fiduciary Account Documentation Requirements form from fourleaffcu.com/forms/. The Trustee Affidavit must be signed by all trustees before a notary (FourLeaf offers free notary services at all branches). Bring the completed forms along with the complete trust document and government-issued ID for the grantor and all trustees to any FourLeaf branch. FourLeaf requires the complete trust document (a Certificate of Trust is not listed as a stand-alone substitute) plus the trust Tax ID Number (EIN) or the grantor SSN under which trust income is reported.

Yes. FourLeaf provides notary public services at all branches at no charge to members, with no appointment required. This is particularly useful when opening or retitling fiduciary (trust) accounts, as the Trustee Affidavit must be notarized by all trustees before submission.

As a member of the Co-op Solutions network, FourLeaf provides access to over 30,000 fee-free ATMs and more than 5,000 shared branch locations nationwide. This allows members to conduct transactions at participating credit unions across the country, even though FourLeaf's physical branches are located on Long Island, Queens (NYC), and Cherry Hill, NJ.
