Funding a revocable trust is the process of transferring assets from your individual name into the trust's name. At Affinity, this means retitling checking, savings, money market, and certificate accounts into the trust name. You remain the trustee with full control of the accounts. This step ensures the trust works as designed and that assets avoid probate. Visit any Affinity branch with your trust agreement or certification of trust to retitle accounts.

Affinity offers three IRA account types, each available as Traditional or Roth IRA: IRA Accumulator Savings (no minimum deposit or balance, competitive dividend rates), IRA Certificate (fixed-rate, $500 minimum, terms from one month to five years), and IRA Money Manager (tiered rates, no minimum). Annual contribution limits are $7,500 (under age 50) and $8,600 (age 50+). Beneficiaries are designated via a separate IRA Beneficiary Designation form. IRAs cannot be retitled to trust accounts.

Affinity offers three checking accounts: Cash Back Debit Checking (1% cash back on purchases, up to $120/year), Cash Back Plus Checking (up to 10% cash back, ATM fee refunds up to $25/month), and High-Yield Checking (5.50% APY on balances up to $15,000, ATM fee refunds). Cash Back Plus and High-Yield Checking require 12+ monthly debit card purchases, a $250+ direct deposit or ACH credit, and eStatement enrollment to qualify for rewards. All checking accounts can be retitled to a trust or have POD beneficiaries added.
