Slavic401k is a retirement provider managing 5 retirement retirement accounts. These tax-advantaged accounts transfer by beneficiary designation—not by will—making it critical to keep designations current and aligned with broader estate planning goals.

Account holders can update their beneficiary designations at Slavic401k online and by phone. Accounts can also be retitled into a trust to keep them out of probate entirely.

There are two sides to estate planning at Slavic401k: setting things up while you're alive, and the process survivors follow after a death.

Frequently asked questions

Slavic401k offers three types of 401(k) plans: Single Employer Plans (standalone 401(k) for individual employers), Multiple Employer Plans (MEP, allowing multiple unrelated employers to participate in one plan), and Pooled Employer Plans (PEP, where Slavic401k serves as the Pooled Plan Provider and named fiduciary). All plan types include Safe Harbor options, digital enrollment, and participant support.

Yes. Slavic401k plans may permit loans and hardship withdrawals, depending on your plan's provisions. Log in to your account at slavic401k.com and click the "Withdrawals" tab in the upper navigation menu. Select the type of withdrawal request and follow the on-screen instructions. Loans take 7-10 business days to process, plus 1-3 business days for electronic transfer or 7-10 days for a mailed check. Hardship withdrawals also take 7-10 business days to process.

Slavic401k plans offer a broad selection of investment options including mutual funds, index funds, bond funds, and foreign funds across different cap sizes. Target-date retirement funds are available for participants who prefer a single diversified fund. You can choose self-directed management or a professionally managed portfolio. The specific fund lineup may vary by plan. Contact Slavic401k at (800) 356-3009 for details on your plan's investment options.

When you leave your employer, you have several options: leave the funds in the plan (if permitted), roll over to a new employer's plan, roll over to a Slavic Managed IRA (no minimum balance required through IRALOGIX partnership), roll over to an IRA at another institution, or take a taxable distribution. Contact Slavic401k at (800) 356-3009 for rollover instructions. Rollovers can be sent to rollovers@slavic401k.com.
