S.T.A.R. Club Savings is a youth savings account for children ages 0-12. It requires a $5 minimum deposit to open. Children automatically become S.T.A.R. Club members when they open their first savings account. When your child turns 13, they can transition to a Safeguard Checking account to learn financial responsibility with a debit card. Because the account is held in a minor's name, it is not eligible for trust retitling.
