Can I create a will entirely online without printing or signing paper documents?

While you can create will documents online using digital platforms, most states still require physical signatures on printed documents with in-person witnesses for legal recognition. Only a handful of states have enacted legislation specifically allowing fully electronic wills with digital signatures. Even in states that permit e-wills, specific technical requirements like secure digital signatures, witness procedures, and storage methods must be met. The majority of families still need to print, sign, and witness their wills on paper to ensure proper execution under their state's laws.
